Firefighters Festival, Amanda, Ohio
Held each year
in September the American Soya Festival is the only festival to celebrate the
Soy Bean. Four days of food prepared with or containing soybean products. It's
a street fair with rides, games, food and FREE entertainment. Contests of all
kinds for kids and adults. Square dancing, country/rock bands, Gospel night, Queens
contest, soybean seed spitting contest, big wheel race, pedal tractor pull. Parades
Wednesday and Thursday starting at 6:30 pm and the Grand Parade Saturday at 5pm.

Sidewalk Sale
The annual downtown sidewalk sale has been a tradition
of Circleville's for many years. It is held the third Thursday though Saturday
in July with most retail merchants offering special discounts on their merchandise.
Shoppers will also find other opportunities from restaurants and local organizations
that also participate in the event.
Arts & Crafts Show in downtown Circleville, held every
year in September.

4th of July Celebration
Our festival is one of the oldest and largest
4-day community 4th of July celebrations held each year in the great state of
Ohio. Delicious foods, parades, crafts, rides, games, pageants, and free entertainment
offer something for everyone. Our "Fish sandwich as big as your hand"
is so popular, we sold over 3 tons. On July 4th, our grand parade which includes
festival queens from all over Ohio starts at 11:00 am and our fantastic fireworks

Viking Festival
Held the last weekend in April at the Ashville Village
Park. A family oriented festival featuring historical re-enactments, craft demonstrations,
historical games of skill, entertainment, fighting demonstrations, craft merchants
and food. Event begins with the docking of the Norseman off the banks of the Scioto

DBA Halloween Fun Night- Held each October. Ghosts, goblins,
witches and more can be found wondering the streets and in the stores each October.
Many downtown businesses participate in a costume and storefront decorating contest
while offering trick-or-treats to passerby.

DBA Holiday Open House- Held every November on the Sunday before
Thanksgiving, shoppers can find a festive holiday fare at many of the retail merchants
including great gift giving prices. Refreshments can also be found at some of
the businesses. The Tubachristmas concert is also held at the Pickaway County
Court House during this festive event.

DBA Christmas Parade- Each December, Here Comes Santa Claus!
On the first Saturday in December downtown Circleville welcomes dear old St. Nick
with a festive holiday parade complete with marching bands, floats, and many area
organizations.

Pumpkin Show!
Always held the third Wednesday through Saturday
in October. A tradition since 1903, this festival of pumpkins brings over 400,000
people from all across the 50 states and many foreign countries. Visitors can
find displays, contests, daily parades, and entertainment, not to mention about
every kind of pumpkin food you can think of. Coined as "The Greatest Free
Show on Earth!" this festival is now considered as one of the major festivals
in the United States.

Point Homecoming- Held every June. Conveniently located just
10 miles south of Columbus, you can enjoy our famous "Ocean Perch Sandwich"

County Fair
Held every year in June the Pickaway
County Fair is a great time for the entire family! Enjoy a variety of grandstand
events such as: Demolition Derby, Truck & Tractor Pulls, Motorcross, &
Harness Racing. Spend all day on the amusement rides, looking at the various displays,
and watching our local youth show off their hard work. General admission is $5.00

Ted Lewis Festival- Please
join us for this wonderful tribute to "The Jazz King", Ted Lewis. A
bandleader, musician, vaudeville icon, and film star, Ted Lewis is known the world
over for his familiar refrain, "Is Everybody Happy?". Lewis is one of
the most commercially successful jazz bands during the 1920's and 30's, performing
and recording hits such as "Tiger Rag", "St. Louis Blues",
and "The Sunny Side of the Street". Held
